Covid-19 Update

Why We Mask

Wearing a mask is the simplest and most effective measure we can take to help slow the spread of COVID. As the Apostle Paul encourages us, “Let each of you look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others” (Philippians 2:4). By wearing a mask, we demonstrate our love for one another.

Thank you for your understanding, flexibility, and cooperation.

In Christ’s Peace,

Pastor Trent

Mask

Updated 10/20/21

Session has met and voted to allow congregational singing during worship. Soft singing with properly worn masks (worn over both mouth and nose) will be a wonderful addition to our worship and help to keep those around us safe.

The most recent CDC guidelines (issued July 27, 2021) recommend that even after vaccination, people should “wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.”

Allegheny County is currently experiencing a substantial rate of transmission of COVID. The Delta variant is 200% more transmissible and even those who are vaccinated can spread the virus.

In an effort to protect our community, especially those who cannot be vaccinated (which includes all children), the session has voted to strongly recommend mask wearing for all indoor events at Beulah Presbyterian Church.

The session will continue to monitor the situation and will share updates regarding any changes.
