Becoming a Member of Beulah
Anyone who wishes to take part in the activities, fellowship, worship, and service ministries of Beulah is welcome.
Have you thought about what it means to become a Beulah member? Learn about Beulah’s story, mission and vision, consider life as a part of this community of faith and what it means to join in membership with those you worship with each Sunday. Our new member process is customized for each individual or family with a mentor who will work with you to discover how God is leading you to take the next step and join our community of faith. Contact Carolyn Leah or Pastor Cynthia to get started!
In the Presbyterian church, in order to serve in an official capacity as a deacon or elder, to be baptized, have your child baptized, or to get married at Beulah, you must first become a member of the church. Membership requires that you go through the mentoring process and then be welcomed into the congregation during a Sunday morning worship service.
You may join a Presbyterian church through a transfer of your letter of membership from another Presbyterian congregation, through baptism, or you may join through a profession of faith or re-affirmation of faith. Youth age 12 and older who wish to join Beulah take part in a confirmation class over a period of several months.

ABOUT OUR LOGO
The cross is central in our logo because all that we do is based on our saving relationship to God through the hope we have in Christ. The cross is reminiscent in style and shape to the cross hanging in our sanctuary.
The heart is composed of two crossing arrows representing the reaching out part of our Mission. They come from our relationship in Christ and point outward to reach out to 1) Welcome and 2) Serve.
The vibrancy of the orange and red in the logo reminds us of the Holy Spirit equipping us and guiding us in these endeavors.
The sail shape behind the cross reminds us that God’s spirit adds the power as the wind adds power to a sailing ship embarking on a new journey.
The font is a more traditional font reflecting our deep history and balances the more updated graphic logo.
