News and Upcoming Events
Fall is here, and we have exciting new things to offer in worship and study for all ages!
Adult and Youth Discovery Classes at 9:45 A.M.
Fall 2019 Schedule
On September 29, we began a multi-week discussion on World Religions. Often, as Christians, we wonder about the beliefs and rituals of other belief systems. What might we have in common, what is different, how does knowing more about a particular belief system help us to know our neighbor better? Begin the exploration with us as Alex Ruzanic facilitates the conversation. In the coming weeks, we will include others to help us learn about Islam, Hinduism, Scientology and more. This class will take us into October.
We were pleased to provide a meeting place for the community to learn more about Churchill Valley Greenway Project on October 24th. Sponsored by Blackridge Garden Club. We learned about the 14-acre Churchill Valley Greenway Project in Penn Hills and Churchill which is adjacent to Beulah's property. They will introduce you to the Allegheny Land Trust, discuss the land and its history, the plans to protect it, and how we can help.
Exceptional Friends Fall Meetings Have Begun! We join in fellowship on Tuesdays for Bible time, dinner, and bell practice from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. We truly love our volunteers who come and help get our dinner set up, served and cleaned up and hang with us to hear our Bible time and bells practice! Our group of Exceptional Friends loves to form new friendships with adults from our congregation. If you are interested in helping for an evening or two, contact Phyllis Rinsma or Carolyn Leah and come meet our Friends!
We will be preparing to share our bell playing talent in worship on Sunday, November 3, and again in December. We also have a performance scheduled on Dec. 7th at Gifts of Hope - Fair Trade Shopping Event in East Liberty.

Gratitude Campaign Sermon Series
We all have “what if” questions. Usually they are imaginings that make us anxious and fearful. “What if my children or spouse get sick?” “What if my retirement savings isn’t enough?” “What if what if what if…” These kinds of “what if” questions can keep us awake for many nights because security is one of our basic needs.
But what if the “what if” questions were not so much about fearful things as about possibilities? What if we trust God to do far more with what we give than we could possibly imagine or do on our own? Join us for this series “What if…,” where we will be imagining what God can do through us if we really trust God with the gifts that God has given to us.
