Faith Promise Giving

Time - Talent - Treasure

Faith is a belief, confidence or trust in someone or something

Promise is a declaration or assurance that something will happen.

As believers, our Christian faith is the assurance that God's promises never fail.  Faith Promise is our love gift to God through our time, talent and treasures.  How we will accomplish this love gift is through three challenges:

The Promise of Time

The Promise of Time - time for everyone in our congregation to learn about the mission projects and outreach programs we support.  Take time to get to know them and get involved.

The Promise of Talent

The Promise of Talent - another word for this is "gifts."  Find out what your spiritual gifts are.  What are you passionate about?  When you find your gifts the Holy Spirit will motivate and direct you, giving you a purpose and a vision for God's plan for your life.

The Finacial Peace University nine weeks classes concluded on Thursday evening April 5, 2018.  FPU teaches God's ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small-group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!  Here's the preview of each session at the Dave Ramsey website.

Check this site to see in the future when we will offer these classes again.

The Promise of Treasure

The Promise of Treasure - financial giving.  Learn how to give, even when times are tough.  We are challenging everyone to try the tithe (10% of your income) for 90 days.   God's word says "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. (Malachi 3:10)

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

                                      2 Corinthians 9:7-8
