Helping adults and youth answer the tough questions about faith in God:
Why is my life so full, but I feel so empty?
What relevance does Jesus have for our lives?
How do we deal with guilt?
What is the point of life?
What happens when we die?
If you have would like to explore questions like these, then Alpha is for you!
What is the format for Alpha?
Alpha is a chance to explore and question the meaning of life. Over a series of about 10 sessions, you'll find out about the basics of Christian faith. Each session involves a main talk (DVD) and some time to say what you think. It 's fun, relaxed and free, and you can ask anything you like (that's why over 25 million people world wide have already tried Alpha).
There's no pressure - you participate within your comfort zone and share only as much as you want. We learn, we laugh, we ask questions, we help each other in small groups, and we eat together. We believe it is possible to learn more about the Christian faith - to have fun and make new friends at the same time.
When & Where Does Alpha Meet?
Dates and times for the next time will be announced. Each gathering begins with dessert, continues with a large-group learning time featuring light, entertaining DVD lessons and ends with small-group discussions and interaction. There's also an optional weekend retreat
mid-way through the course.
Childcare is provided free of charge for children whose parents or guardians are attending Alpha. If you need childcare, please let us know when you register.
