Small Group Opportunities

 

SINGLES STUDY

If you are single, for whatever reason; divorced, widowed, never married - there's a place for you at Beulah Presbyterian Church.    Some reasons single people want to be in a covenant group with other Christian singles are to cultivate friendships, to share mutual interests including our belief system, or to develop and attend events with other single people.  We offer all of this and more in a Christian environment.  If you are single and wish to explore the possibilities of joining a group of single adult Christians, please plan to join us.  Questions?  Call Linda Yorkshire.

 

BEULAH SMALL GROUPS MINISTRY(seasonal)

Now is your chance to get plugged into a small group of loving Christians who understand and support each other!
Small group coordinator Becky McGhee and team are always working to prepare the way for new groups to form and flourish. The possibilities are endless; your personal commitment would be for only 7 to 9 weeks at a time.
With this new set of small groups you have the option to be a facilitator or simply a participant. Please consider whether God is calling you to be a facilitator. Invite a friend to join you in a group. Contact Becky McGhee for more information about our various small group Bible study groups!

 

MONDAY NIGHT WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

The Monday Night Bible Study starts at 6:30 p.m. in Room 206. This study focuses on the upcoming Sunday’s sermon text. Anyone is welcome to attend at any time. Led by Phyllis Rupert.

 

WOMEN'S CIRCLE GROUPS

Three Circles (Deborah, Ruth and Dorcas) meet for Bible study meetings once a month either during the day or in the evening from September through June. The groups meet either at the church, in homes or at places such as Longwood at Oakmont. There is a moderator and a leader for a Study chosen by each individual Circle. Any women interested in joining a Circle may call the church for information and a contact telephone number.

 

MEN'S PRAYER BREAKFAST

Since the mid-1950s the men of Beulah have come together regularly to eat breakfast, pray and to fellowship together. The tradition still continues.
On the first Wednesday of every month, breakfast begins at 7:00 a.m., followed by prayer and Bible study so that those whose jobs require that they leave before 8:00 a.m. can do so. Members and friends meet on the first Wednesday of every month.
We extend an invitation to all men to come to Beulah and join us for a time of fellowship over breakfast and prayer.

SERENITY GROUP

Does the word serenity make you wish that you had some?
Have you reached a point in your life in which you know that you are just treading water and that the circumstances in which you find yourself or the persons with whom you are interacting are not going to change? Well. we do not have all of the answers or any magic words. We do offer support, understanding, a safe place to practice new behaviors, and the twelve steps which are a method of growing in grace, love and Christ.
