Life Journey Discipleship

Through Life Journey Discipleship, we hope to connect adults in a caring Christian community of persons in similar life stages that will encourage each other to continue the lifelong journey of discipleship to Jesus Christ. We accomplish this by connecting you to a group and by offering each group a rotating schedule of core curriculum and elective classes throughout the year.

Harmos (Intergenerational): New Testament Class ‐

The Book of Galatians: Some say this book is the little Book of Romans. In this study we will examine the life of the author, the apostle Paul, and explore the implications of this book on our lives today. Led by Peggar Dixon. Fireside Room

 

XYZ (eXtra Years of Zest):

Genesis – we know it is the first book of the Bible, but what do we really know about it? Can you put the following characters in the order in which they appear in Genesis: Noah, Cain, Adam, Abraham, Benjamin, Shem, Seth, Methuselah, Rachel, Joseph, Isaac, God? What is the meaning of these ancient stories for our lives today? Is God’s grace seen in the Old Testament as well as in the New Testament? Join us as we explore the wonderful book of Genesis led by Doug Marshall. Room 209 R.

 

Horizons (20s and 30s) -

It’s God’s Mission! The Church exists for God’s mission purposes in the world. It is important for us to consider why and how we can live out our calling “to make disciples of every nation.” (Matt. 28:19) Sept. 11, 19 &Oct. 23. Room 202.

The Spirit of Service! Scripture tells us that everyone in the church is a minister (Ephesians 4 11-12). Pastors and staff are the ones called to equip all God’s people to find and fulfill their God-ordained ministries. Join us as we examine the various aspects of who God has created you to be and where He might be calling you to serve. Led by Pastor Cynthia. Room 208
